Now the iPad

Now that I’ve successfully plunged back into the blogosphere I’m trying out the WordPress app for the iPad. I have to say that it took me a while to get it to work properly, you know, the old, delete the crashing app, reinstall, then try to sign on again routine. Fortunately — or un in some cases — I’m somewhat literate in technical-device-ese. Getting things set back up was not the most intuitive thing on the planet to do. At sign-in I kept getting an error message saying that my user name or password was not correct. I knew my user name or password were not the issue. So I persisted and after two delete and reinstall routines the iPad app is finally working. Beware world!

Good Class

The class was really good.  Discussed innovation issues from many perspectives: manufacturing, technology, etc.  Was glad to hear that many ideas, such as how you can do tech forecasting, are based on using applied scientific method.  In other words, there is really no mystery to any of this–anyone can do it.  You just have to have the motivation and the support to do it.

At MIT

Taking a class on strategy and innovation. This, I hope, will be helpful as we go into the new year in October. I am really looking forward to it.

Just When You Thought Ugly was Ugly

If you thought ugly was ugly get a load of this.  I was having a geek moment and uploaded a picture of me to the Avatar website, where you can turn a picture of yourself into a Na’vi.  I am one ugly blue dude.
